With An Air Of Pavitas
The Pavitas Blog.
Our show in Baia Mare was sold out. And the show went really well. It's an interesting challenge to set up our show on all these different stages. We have to always adjust what the show looks like and how to stage the piece based on stage shape and size.

There wasn't much to do in Baia Mare. And we weren't there very long. So everyone was very tired. Then just when we think we'll get to finish teching the show early and rest, we're invited to meet the mayor. Then meeting the mayor turns into a cocktail party. That then turns into a full Romanian meal. Which turns into a small concert. It's hard to complain about too much hospitality. And it was pretty fun (and delicious). I just wish I had a minute to shut my eyes.

WHAT I LEARNED
The people of Baia Mare are historically different than the rest of Romania. They are related to those who settled throughout the Carpathians north toward Ukraine.
We travel again tomorrow. I don't think I'll update until we get to Brasov. I'm excited to see that city. I hear it's beautiful.
